About

About

After over 13 years as a primary school teacher in Bristol I felt it was time for a change and so retrained, gaining a Royal Horticultural Society Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture. I have always enjoyed and appreciated nature and in the past 10+ years this has manifested itself in gardening. I believe the nature present in our gardens has a strong role to play - both for the environment and our well being. So WILD was born... delivering the gardening needs for a customer with the added benefit of being totally wildlife friendly.

Why wildlife friendly gardening?

It is estimated that private gardens cover approximately 400,000 hectares - roughly the equivalent of all our national parks combined. Instead of despairing at the trend towards loss of biodiversity and carbon intensive urbanisation I decided to create a company that, at its very core, boosts wildlife and helps the planet through the sequestration of carbon. We can all play our part, be it small or large.

Aims

My aim is very simple: to deliver what a customer would like and ensure a high level of satisfaction while at the same time increasing wildlife and having a positive impact on the planet.
